The School L’ Italiano da Lontano is an online, virtual school. The school offers the opportunity to take individual lessons or lessons with other students in small groups (maximum of 7 students).

Lessons for everyone

Individual Lessons: these lessons can follow our suggested lesson program or they can be tailored specifically to your needs. If you want to learn Italian for business, specific terminology needs or just for conversation, we will work with you to design an individual program.

LdL Lessons: These are modular lessons you can take at any time, because later lessons do not depend on earlier lessons. Each lesson deals with a specific language element on its own (such as grammar, vocabulary, or a special linguistic structure). With these lessons, you learn Italian at your own  pace, focusing on problem areas or specific elements of interest, without the  risk of “falling behind” in your class.

Written Task: these lessons give you practice in writing in Italian for the same price as a Modular lesson. Each month, the teacher will propose some topics for discussion. Choose one, write a short text and submit it online. Your teacher will return your written text with any corrections highlighted.

All online lessons last 50 minutes.

For Individual lessons, you can choose your teacher and agree your online program together.  All lessons will be conducted with the teacher chosen by you.  To reserve a private lesson, please send an e-mail to booking@italianlanguageclass.com.

During the lessons, students are encouraged to express themselves in Italian, by limiting the use of other foreign languages. During LdL Lessons, aids may be provided in English.
